Aberlour Whisky

12 Year Old

Aged in Oloroso Sherry butts, some of the most precious in use, to create a medium amber dram that is fragrant with fruity notes of red apple.

Single Malt

The sherry character is balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness on the palate and finishes with warming and lingering, sweet/slightly spicy replays.

Scotch Whisky

For the technically curious, the full lighting setup consisted essentially of 2 speedlights and a light diffusion panel and it was shot in multiple exposures to combine lit and unlit bottle refractions along with some additional rim, edge lights, and other effects. The camera body used was a Fujifilm X-T3, and the Fujinon 80mm F2.8 Macro was the lens of choice. The whole shoot was done tethered to Capture 1, which greatly helped simplify the capture and review process.
In regards to the postproduction, as mentioned we shot multiple exposures to have the flexibilities to blend different lightings setups to achieve a nice, elegant final result.
